My 6 month old is so active! Any advice?

My son just turned 6 months on the 12th of this month. He has been full on properly crawling for 2 weeks now, can sit up no worries and get into a sitting position, and the last few days he has been pulling himself to a stand in his cot and play pen, he has 2 teeth and can pick up small objects with the pincer motion (thumb and forefinger) he is extremely vocal and i am sure he understands when i say "no"
I’m not bragging or saying I have a genius child on my hands, however I do aknowledge he is a little more active than other babies his age and wonder if there is someting specaial i should be doing to encourage this?
We live in a small town so baby gym and those types of activities are out of the question, we go to play group once a week and read lots of books… but yeah just wondered what to do with this child !!!!! he is quite a handful ๐Ÿ™‚ thanks everyone ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

I completely understand. My daughter is 9 months old as of yesterday. She crawls, walks, and says Momma, Dadda, Dad, Cat, Dog, No, and Hi. Maybe they are not the smartest babies in the world but I would say your child sounds a little above average.
My fiance and read to our daughter often, she loves it. She even turns the page for us when we stop reading. Give that a try. Also walk him around the house and yard and point at things and tell him what they are. We have been doing that for 4 months and now she points at things and waits for us to tell her what it is. Buy educational toys and videos, Leap Frog and Baby Einstein are really good. Spen a lot of time watching the videos with him and playing toy’s with him. Other than that give him a lot of love and try your best to keep him out of trouble, but believe me when I say you cannot protect him from everything. He will get into things he should’nt and he will get hurt no matter how good of a parent you are. But do your best and everything will be fine.
