My baby is very active… Any advice?

My son just turned 6 months on the 12th of this month. He has been full on properly crawling for 2 weeks now, can sit up no worries and get into a sitting position, and the last few days he has been pulling himself to a stand in his cot and play pen, he has 2 teeth and can pick up small objects with the pincer motion (thumb and forefinger) he is extremely vocal and i am sure he understands when i say "no"
I’m not bragging or saying I have a genius child on my hands, however I do aknowledge he is a little more active than other babies his age and wonder if there is someting specaial i should be doing to encourage this?
We live in a small town so baby gym and those types of activities are out of the question, we go to play group once a week and read lots of books… but yeah just wondered what to do with this child !!!!! he is quite a handful ๐Ÿ™‚ thanks everyone ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

wow!! you have a very active child…don’t worry, you’re not alone. my bub is 5 months and barely sleeps all day, tries to sit by lifting his head real high and grabbing on to things, pushes himself on the floor to move (like a worm), and is rolling over like there is no tomorrow, even on me when i’m nursing! i guess all you can do is entertain him and provide him with as many things to do as possible. he should be able to play on his own for a little while now so you can get things done around the house. whenever he does something new or something that you know takes a lot of practice and energy praise him with hugs and kisses. you can take him to the kitchen with you and give him some kitchen ware to play with and when cooking tell him "mommy is going to make _____" and tell him all the ingredients and what you do with them as you go. just make fun out of every day things and let him participate in some things as long as he’s capable. good luck and take care of that little bundle!!! he sounds like he’s doing awesome!!!
